My Current Haircare Routine (Warning: This is a RAVE!)

Hi there! I've been really itching to write a post about this. I initially planned to feature these products on my May favorites post but it just cannot wait!
You see, I think that I've found my holy grail hair products! And baby, I'm so excited... I just can't hide it! ;)

For 23 years of my life, I've been stuck with haircare products that my parents purchase at the grocery. Now I'm a working girl, I've earned a bit lot of freedom with the products that I can use. Over the past months, I've been trying to observe which products have been working for my hair. Don't get me wrong. I still believe in the power of my haircare tips. But now, with the current state of my hair, (I've bleached & dyed it), I've got really dry ends. Now I've got to do some boosting up with my routine.

First on the list is my shampoo. It's the Sunsilk Co-Creations Strong & Long by Teddy Charles (Php84.00 , 180mL).
Honestly, I'm a guilty stereotypist. I have never ever believed that Sunsilk will do something for my hair. Ever. Mainly because I believed that cheap hair care are such blahs. But now I'm a happy convert!

What I love about this....
First off, this thing actually straightens my hair! You all know I'm not a fan of chemical straighteners. I'm proud of my wavy locks but there are times when I get bored with it. And this year, I've been really aiming at clean straight hair. This shampoo just gives me all that sans chemicals. My hair absolutely feels happy! I get people asking me if I did something to my hair... if I had straightened or what. And I just say, it's my shampoo. They never believe me! Just love these kinds of compliments!
Another thing, I feel like my hair has grown faster. Two months ago, I've been complaining about how my hair grows ever so slow. I mean, I chopped of my locks on March last year and it only grew just about 3 inches past my shoulders after one year. That's really sad. But lately, I've noticed my hair got longer! I think it's because of the straightening effect. Anyhoo, I'm happy with this shampoo. It's the only one that I've been totally impressed with!

Step two of my routine is conditioner. I now use TRESemme Smooth & Shine for dry, frizz prone hair (Php 280.00, 600 mL) .
Let me tell you guys, I am INLOVE! Totally!
I've been using this conditioner for the past week. I know, I know... it's too early for a rave but since I use this everyday, I think 7 days is a great judge for whether it's good or not. Agree?

What I love about this...

This gives me the softest hair from amongst all conditioners that I've ever used. I mean, seriously. The problem about my previous conditioners is that, I'd have to get a ton of product on my hair and leave it for a good 5 minutes just to really get me some smoothness. But this baby right here works with 3 pumps max! It's economically OMGosh! The other thing that I'm extremely crazy about this bad boy here is that it's cheap. I did the math and I was blown away, you guys! *Sorry. It;'s the engineer in me. LOL.
You get a Dove conditioner for P110 for 180mL. Now buying 3 tubes will cost you P330 for 540mL only. That's less 6 conditioner sachets. Tell me it's not worth it!

My step three would be my Human Nature 100% Natural Cleansing Oil with Sunflower Oil. I know I originally bought this as a cleanser/makeup remover but I bought a St. Ives one and I got really happy with it. Now, since this baby is 100% organic and only has Sunflower oil + all natural fragrance for ingredients, it's perfectly safe to use on my hair. I get one pump out from this and then apply it on my hair, midlength to tips. I've been needing extra moisture lately and this one does the job perfectly! Lalala... Happy hair!

Extra.... I bought this today and used it on my hair. Welcome to the family, TRESemme Smooth & Shine Hair Mask (P169, 180mL)!

What I love about this...
I literally cannot stop touching my hair! It's just soooo soft! My hair is having the time of it's life. I'm planning on using this hair mask 2 to 3 times a week. Because one, I don't have extra 5 minutes in the shower and two, I don't want my hair to be heavily dependent on this. I still want it to work everytime I use this which shouldn't be everyday. All I can say is, this has definitely earned a good first impression on me!

That's it guys and gals! I'd like to say that although I'm raving about these products working for me, it won't necessarily mean that it'll work for everyone else.

Have a happy hair!

-xoxo, D
