Makeup Haul :: Watson's, Gaisano, & Raintree

Yesterday was my determined face day. And what a happy day it had been!
Makeup Haul! Edited on PicMonkey.com

I'd been out of the house early to grab some stuff before I went on to my YFC meetings. I went to Watson's,   Metro Gaisano, and Raintree Mall. Wow, that was quite a shopping trip. Anyway, coming to Watson's was out of impulse. It hadn't been on my itinerary that day but I just saw the drugstore's green banner screaming at me outside their store and I knew I just had to stop by.
So there I was inside the store and got me a couple of stuff. Tah-dah!
Counterclockwise from top left: Nichido Eyelash Curler (P75); Fashion 21 Eyeshadow Trio #4 (P150); Nichido Lip Liner in Rosette (P100); Maybelline Baby Lips in Smoothing Cherry (P79)
The Fashion 21 Eyeshadow Trio was bought in Gaisano Metro but everything else was on Watson's.

I've been meaning to buy a good lip balm for quite some time now. I noticed my lips were turning really chappy and they wouldn't get back to their normal moisturized selves. Summer's quite here so it's really hot! I knew I just had to get one. I've heard great reviews about the Maybelline Baby Lips and now I got one. I tried it on after I got out of the store and they absolutely taste terrific! Like mangoes in full bloom! YUMMY!

The Nichido Lip Liner has been on my to buy list. I've noticed how it's kind of difficult to pull of red lips because they just don't make a perfect line on their own. So I got me Nichido's natural pink shade in Rosette. Awesome shade! I think it'll really blend with most lipsticks that I have. They're even a great shade on their own. Love it!

The eyelash curler, I wasn't so sure of. I saw a P180+ curler right beside it and they both kinda looked the same. I didn't know what to get so I picked the cheaper one. I'll tell you on my future reviews how that works out for me.

A bit of back story...
Two days ago, I've set my mind to buy makeup items at Metro Gaisano. But I was a tad impatient so I went over to Watson's first, instead. Anyway, it turns out that I only got one makeup item on Gaisano. LOL. Initially, I was set to buy Elf's contour & highlight palette but I was disappointed with the colors. I thought they were too dark for my skin tone. So that was scratched off my list. Then I turned around and saw Fashion 21's items and that Eyeshadow palette trio caught my eye. It was perfect! It had this Taupe-y brown color, a shimmery champagne color, and a matte nude color. I was ecstatic! I think this would be great for highlighting and contouring. And they were inexpensive compared to Elf's.

Next stop was the Raintree Mall and I was running late! haha Anyway, I was determined to make a quick stop to the Blue Bliss store. I've sniffed around a month ago and have been peeking at their website from time to time. I was totally amazed that they had Ecotools and NYX stuff! Oh yeah baby! I mean, here I was ordering stuff online, when a store in Cebu that had these awesome stuff. I didn't get any NYX stuff because I didn't have enough cash on me so I bought the Ecotools 6 Piece Eye Brush Set instead. Yay!

I've been doing my research on brushes and been listening to Wayne Goss about how great brushes do great even with crappy makeup. Since I already had a 60+ eyeshadow palette, I thought it would be nice to invest on brushes. I'm really excited to use these brushes. Comment below if you want me to do a review on these brushes and I'll certainly do!

Oh happy day!
